Santa is looking forward to welcoming you this Christmas in Derbion

Wander through the Santa’s Winter Woodland at Derbion this Christmas. From 1st December, the whole family can experience a magical winter world, where you can safely meet Santa on his sleigh for a fabulous festive photo. This year there is also a cookie decorating station halfway round the woodland that guests can enjoy while they wait to meet Santa.

Santa’s elves will be on hand to guide the way, and ensure everyone stays safe, and off the naughty list.

Santa’s Winter Woodland will be open till December 24with tickets costing £8.00 each (plus £1 booking fee)

  • What does the experience entail, and do we get to meet Santa this year?  
    Santa’s Winter Woodland is a wonderful family Christmas experience. You will enjoy an enchanting festive woodland journey to meet Santa and receive a special gift. This year there is also a cookie decorating station half way round the woodland that guest can enjoy while they wait to meet Santa. This year Santa will still be socially distanced and will stay in his sleigh but will still meet each group for a family photo as well as listening to your Christmas wishes.
  • Where is Santa’s Winter Woodland located?
    It is located on level 1
  • How do I buy tickets for Winter Woodland?
    Tickets can be purchased in centre direct from the Winter Woodland ticket desk or online on https://tickets.eskimojoevents.co.uk/derbion_2021/ (subject to availability). Tickets can be purchased for either the same day or in advance for future dates. We recommend you book in advance as tickets limited and are likely to get booked quickly.

    Tickets cannot be refunded or transferred to another date. Please note that you cannot purchase or make changes to your tickets via our Customer Service Desk or Reception.
  • Do I need to print my tickets, or can I just bring them on my phone or mobile device?
    You can bring your ticket confirmation with you either printed out or on your mobile device.
  • Will I receive a ticket once I have booked?
    Once you have placed your booking, you will receive a confirmation ticket – advance tickets also receive an e-mail which will include your booking reference. Please ensure you bring this code with you.
  • How many people can I book for?
    In order to adhere to government guidelines and to ensure adequate social distancing within the experience each booking is limited to 6 people which includes adults, children and babies. The maximum number of adults allowed in a group will be 2. To keep everyone safe please only book tickets to attend with members of your own household or social bubble It is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with the government guidelines regarding the area in which you live.



    Examples of maximum tickets that can be purchased:



    5 child tickets with 1 adult accompanying them

    4 child tickets with 2 adults accompanying them

    4 child tickets with 1 adult accompanying them

    4 child tickets with 1 adult and 1 baby under 1 year old accompanying them

    3 child tickets with 2 adults and 1 baby under 1 year old accompanying them

    Please note that if you are bringing a baby under 1 years old with you to accompany older siblings but not to meet Santa, they will not require a ticket but will count as one of the 6 persons allowed in your booking.
  • Do adults need a ticket?
    Every child wanting to see Santa will be required to have a valid ticket. However, adults accompanying them do not need a ticket. The maximum number of people in any group allowed into the Winter Woodland will be 6 people which includes adults, children and babies. A maximum of 2 adults per group will be allowed into the experience.
  • Does my baby need a ticket?
    Every child wanting to see Santa will be required to have a valid ticket. However, if children under the age of 1 are accompanying siblings and are not requiring a gift from Santa no fee will be charged. If a baby under 1 year old is visiting the Winter Woodland without older siblings a ticket will be required as a minimum of 1 ticket must be purchased for each group visiting the experience. Babies are included in the 6 person maximum for groups visiting the experience.
  • When should I arrive?
    We recommend arriving 5 minutes prior to your booked time to allow time for checking in and to ensure your visit runs to time. Please do not arrive before this time in order to help us minimise queues to enter the experience.
  • Can we take photographs?
    You can take personal photos within the Winter Woodland walk through only. Unfortunately, you will not be able to take your own photos when you see Santa. Professional photographs will be available to purchase when you see Santa.
  • Will my child get to meet Santa? 
    Yes, but they will need to maintain social distancing during throughout the experience.  Children will meet Santa on his magical sleigh in your family group.
  • What age is the Winter Woodland suitable for?  
    This experience is suitable for children aged 18 months and upwards, but it really is fun for all!

  • Do you have toilets in the Winter Woodland?
    There are no toilets in the Winter Woodland, the nearest toilets and baby changing facilities are located nearby, close to TGI Fridays. It is advised to visit the toilet before entering.
  • Can I drop my child off for the event while I go shopping?
    No. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event and will be fully responsible for the child in their care.
  • Is there wheelchair access?
    There is wheelchair access throughout the Winter Woodland.
  • Is the Winter Woodland suitable for children with disabilities and will the staff act accordingly if necessary?
    Santa’s Winter Woodland is suitable for children with a range of disabilities. We do recommend that you mention details of your child’s disability to the staff before purchasing your ticket so that you can decide whether the experience would be both suitable and enjoyable for your child.
  • Does the Winter Woodland offer Autism Friendly sessions?
    Christmas is our favourite time of year and we want to make every one of our visitors smile with the festive experiences on offer.  At Santa’s Winter Woodland we are happy to adjust to ensure the experience is as autism friendly as possible, such as turning down music and dimming the lights on request.  We will do this on a case by case basis if the parent or guardian informs the elves on duty at the time.   
  • Can I book a special needs group and school party visits?  
    Please email tickets@eskimojoevents.co.uk to discuss your visit and special requirements.
  • Will I get to see the Santa shown in the pictures?
    There may be a limited number of dates where Santa is different to the one shown. This is outside of our control but rest assured he will still be fantastic and make sure your Christmas wishes come true.
