This Easter, get ready for a prehistoric adventure as 14 gigantic, life‑like animatronic dinosaurs return to Derbion. From roaring giants to soaring predators, it’s an unforgettable experience for all ages.

Follow the Free Dinosaur Trail

Visitors can explore the centre and come face‑to‑face with all 14 dinosaurs on the free Dino Trail. Stand beside the mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex for an unforgettable photo, watch a Pteranodon move as though it’s ready to take flight, and enjoy a fun photo moment inside a Baby Dino Egg. To take part, simply collect a trail map from the Customer Service Desk and use it to find every dinosaur throughout the centre. Along the way, you can answer five trail questions included on the map. When all answers are complete, return the map to Customer Services to receive a prize, available while stocks last. The entire trail is free to enjoy.

Fossil Finders Dig

Children can experience what it feels like to be a palaeontologist at the Fossil Finders Dig.

They can search through sand to uncover hidden dinosaur bones, gather around the assembly table to piece together a full dinosaur skeleton, and learn fascinating details about prehistoric life through hands‑on discovery.

The Fossil Finders Dig runs from 30 March to 11 April. Opening hours are 10am to 4pm from Monday to Saturday, and 10:30am to 4pm on Sundays. Each session lasts 30 minutes, with multiple time slots available throughout the day. Thirty children can take part in each session, and the cost is £3 per child.

Bumble the Brontosaurus -8th April

Join Bumble the Brontosaurus and her dino friends for the exciting “How to Train a Dinosaur” immersive show, a fun filled experience the whole family will love.

You will also have the chance to spot them during their walkabouts around the centre, where you can snap a photo with Bumble and even meet an adorable baby dinosaur up close.
