Every child deserves a gift at Christmas. This year we have partnered with Derby City Mission, Salvation Army and Children First Derby, to help collect and distribute Christmas presents bought by you to local children in the area who need them most. You can find the giving box on level 1 outside Sainsbury’s.
All you have to do is buy a gift and pop it in the box, it’s that simple! We will get your gift to the relevant charity to wrap and send to all the Children before the big day. The giving box will be taking donations until 22nd December.

Children First Derby
Children First Derby’s founding aim is to relieve the distress and suffering experienced by families and children. The charity works to benefit vulnerable children, young people and families, helping make life improvements.
Salvation Army
Salvation Army are running a Christmas Present Appeal, collecting donated presents until mid-December.
You can help them spread the joy of Christmas to families whose children would otherwise not receive a gift.
Derby City mission
Since 1996 Derby City Mission have provided Christmas presents for thousands of Children who might not otherwise receive any. They are reliant on donations of new toys to make this happen every year. Each Christmas parcel typically contains two large/main gifts, a book, stocking fillers, a booklet explaining the Good News of the Christmas message, a selection box and, for the younger children, a cuddly toy.
