We are excited to announce that from the 9th September we will be the first UK shopping centre to have a brand-new calming experience, The Sensory C.A.V.E., will offer you a relaxing retreat when you are with us if it all feels a little bit too much!
The Sensory C.A.V.E, is an immersive sensory room that will provide anyone living with conditions such as autism and anxiety the chance to take a soothing break from the typical business of a shopping centre.
You can find it on Level 1 near Derby Theatre, the C.A.V.E will feature specialised sensory equipment to promote relaxation and alleviate anxiety, with three specially designed settings to choose from.
The C.A.V.E. is designed to provide a safe space for shoppers who may find busy public spaces challenging.
A 30-minute experience will cost £6 per session and can fit up to four individuals, including wheelchairs and pushchairs.
