We are delighted to announce that H&M is expanding to a larger space at Derbion, which will introduce H&M Home to Derby and include H&M Kids under the same roof as women’s and menswear!

H&M will temporarily close its doors from Sunday 17th July, before re-opening on Level 2 in Autumn/Winter. The new 25,000sq ft store will offer visitors an extensive selection of women’s and menswear, as well as bringing H&M Kids under the same roof. The current H&M Kids store will remain open throughout the expansion, closing just before the transformation is complete to enable their relocation.

The new supersized store will also see H&M Home arrive at Derbion for the first time which will feature an extensive range of H&M’s Home products, including bed linen, glassware and many more stylish home accessories.

H&M’s significant upsize will see the retailer take over River Island’s former unit next door, as well as refresh its current space. This follows the news that River Island will be relocating in-centre expanding its footprint by more than a third later this summer.

Toni Galli, H&M UK & IE Country Manager, said: “We’re excited to be significantly increasing our space at Derbion and look forward to shoppers seeing our new-look store when we open later this year.

“With the much wider ranges of H&M available in one place, including our expansive Home collection, we’re confident our new store will offer our customers a fantastic shopping experience.”
