We’re excited to announce that iconic music and entertainment retailer HMV will be opening a brand-new store at Derbion next month.
The new HMV will be located in the former JD Sports unit near M&S, opening in February. To ensure a smooth transition, HMV will continue trading from its current Level 2 store for most of the fit-out period, with only a short closure planned shortly before the new store launches.
The upgraded space will offer fans of pop culture an even bigger and better shopping experience. Shoppers can look forward to an unrivalled range of music, film and TV, alongside pop culture merchandise, music technology and books. From vinyl records and CDs to films and TV shows on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD, the new store will have something for every collector.
There’ll also be an extensive merchandise range, featuring T-shirts and pop culture products from much-loved franchises including Pokémon, Stranger Things, Marvel and DC.
HMV is the latest brand to invest in its space at Derbion, joining Boots, MOSS and Pandora as part of our ongoing transformation. The news follows the recent announcement that Wingstop will be opening in the coming weeks, while Primark is set to arrive in 2027.
