We’re proud to be taking part in the Summer Derby Book Festival.
On Thursday 30 May we will be hosting FREE children’s live book reading sessions from 11am – 4pm on Level 2 outside H&M in our themed reading area. Booking is advised as places are limited.
Your child can enjoy listening to a minimum of two books including:
* The Tiger Who Came To Tea
* Little Bear’s Picnic
* Teddy Bear’s Picnic
* Elmer
* Cat In The Hat
* The Gruffalo
On the day, we would be grateful to receive (optional) charity contributions for our 2024 charity partner, Umbrella.
Derbion will also be a drop-off location for Derby Book Festival’s Children’s Book Appeal where locals will be able to donate their pre-loved children’s books. The initiative aims to spread a love of books and encourage a new generation of Derby readers. Books will be able to be donated at our Customer Service desk, located on level 1 outside Boots and at Derby City Labs, which is located on Level 2 .
