We have exciting news for budding entrepreneurs and local businesses in the East Midlands.
After a successful year in 2023, we again invite small businesses to participate in the Hatch competition for a chance to win six weeks of rent-free retail space at Derbion.
The winning business will also receive free marketing support from Derbion to help boost brand awareness and grow its brand.
Interested entrepreneurs have until Sunday, March 17, to submit their applications through the button below (or click here). Following a pitch process, the lucky winner will be announced in April, and the winning business will open the doors to its rent-free space at Derbion in the months following.
This marks the fifth year of Derbion’s Hatch competition, which launched in 2019 and has since achieved remarkable success. Notably, Design 44, one of the past winners, continues to operate successfully at the centre. The initiative has also proven to be a game-changer for finalists and local brands like 1NE, Project D, and The Hair Repair Club, offering them a physical presence in a busy shopping centre, alongside offering finalists including Katie Astle and Spirit Crystals the opportunity to open pop-up stores over the festive period and beyond.
